Philosophy

Sustainable and responsible development relies on an amalgamation of industries and as ecological consultants our role is to support and meet the needs of other professionals. Our mission statement is,

“To meet the needs of biodiversity we must first recognise the quality of a site in order to preserve its character and maximise the value of development.”

At Pure Ecology we apply the science of ecology to meet the challenges of protecting wildlife and delivering biodiversity gain. Renewable energy, sustainable development and innovation in infrastructure projects are providing new opportunities and raising expectations on what can be achieved. We believe that when there is innovation alongside commercial awareness, improving our environment is a realistic goal.

Ecological consultancy cannot be done from behind a desk and our experience has been gained though countless projects from loft conversions to urban expansions, bridge repairs to road networks and historic buildings to sustainable homes. Our high standard of work is reflected in the quality of our reports, an essential component of our service to clients.

Understanding the implication of protected species and taking account of ecological constraints is the best way of avoiding costly complications for a project.
