Ecological supervision during development is often required to avoid impacts on sensitive ecological receptors and to implement mitigation. Pure Ecology offers an Ecological Clerk of Works service to provide our clients with hands-on advice during sensitive phases of a development. Sites that support European Protected Species often require licensing and for development to be undertaken in accordance with a method statement. Our protected species specialists are also licenced to handle bats, great crested newts or dormice where the rescue of animals is required.
Our Clerks of Works communicate ecological issues clearly and concisely to site personnel and provide guidance on how to avoid and minimise ecological impacts in order to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
